Definitely something to think about. The way the world has already changed and the expectations of our youth entering today's economy, this approach is not only necessary, but long past-due. Otherwise we end up cheating them out of having and being competent with the tools and skills they will need to adapt to the ever quickening changes already happening globally.

Definitely something to think about...... think hard... we aren't in Kansas anymore.

The iPad 2 isn't even available yet, but some of its specs are. Mashable has a great graphic of how some other competing tablets stack up against it. It has everything from cpu, dimensions, camera specs, etc. to carriers, 3G/4G, GPS and more. If you are interested in tablets this is a good resource to have.
